Kid’s fun at Centre Point

Funarium is a Dream-Come-True for Kids in Bangkok

If you’re visiting Bangkok with young children, then you’ll definitely want to visit the Funarium. This indoor playground isn’t much to look at from the outside. But once you enter through the front doors, you and your family will be greeted with one of the most exciting, fun-filled action zones in the city. Bangkok’s youngest visitors absolutely love it!

We regularly recommend Funarium to families staying at Centre Point Thong Lo. This large entertainment area offers 2,000 sq m of activity space complete with climbing structures, soft-play areas, craft centres and even a giant sand-and-water play zone. For kids spending time in Bangkok, this is a dream come true.

With slides, ball pits and complex climbing structures, this is the kind of playground Mum and Dad wished they had access to when they were kids. Admission is highly affordable and available in three-hour blocks, which is more than enough time to sufficiently wear your little ones out. If the kids are dealing with pent-up energy after one-too-many temple visits, Funarium has the solution.

Funarium Highlights
The main play area at Funarium is divided into four distinct play zones. They’re designed to cater to specific age groups with appropriate structures and activities:

  • Toddler: This area is designed for children up to the age of four. It features soft play equipment that promotes early development and nurtures inquisitive minds. Toddlers can crawl or walk on safe surfaces and have fun in a shallow ball pool. There’s even a small, two-lane slide.
  • Sand and Water: A side attraction for toddlers, this area features a puddle pool and a sand pit. Jumping back and forth is heaps of fun for youngsters.
  • Junior: Next up is the two-storey play structure designed for children between the ages of 4 to 13. Kids can climb, crawl, jump and balance throughout this apparatus. There’s a trampoline and a ball-blower machine, and the four-lane slide is big enough to accommodate adults. This zone is fun for the entire family.
  • Sport: This zone is best-suited to older children. It includes a bicycle rink and a combined football and basketball court. At certain times, roller blading is also allowed here.

Funarium also offers a Party Zone for birthday parties and other events. In all, there are four themed party rooms on the second floor, each with its own distinct décor. And if you would just like to relax, Mum and Dad can spend time in the Fun Café – which is a full restaurant serving international cuisine and drinks.
